My journey in the painting industry began in 1986, where I dedicated myself to mastering every phase of the painting process. Among these, I quickly learned that preparation is the cornerstone of a successful paint job. I spent months perfecting this critical phase, ensuring every surface was properly prepped for optimal results.

Next came the protection phase—meticulously masking off areas and using drop protection to safeguard against overspray or splatter, eliminating any potential liabilities. From there, I honed my skills in paint application, mastering brush, roller, and spray techniques. I ensured every application met the manufacturer’s specifications for mil thickness and coverage, delivering a smooth, uniform finish free of lines or lap marks.

After perfecting these essential phases, I founded Tri-Plex Painting on October 15, 1989. As a professional painting contractor, I’ve leveraged this comprehensive knowledge to consistently provide high-quality results at competitive prices.

Taylor Lukens

Taylor has been a full-time employee at Tri-Plex Painting since 2015 and continues to refine his craft. Tanner Lukens

Tanner joined Tri-Plex Painting in 2016 and quickly discovered a strong passion for the craft. Starting with preparation work, he advanced to a full-time painter and has excelled in every phase of the process.
