Flaking or peeling paint tells us that perhaps the siding was not primed properly and the paint did not adhere as well as it should. Moisture will cause the paint to release from the surface. Once this process begins if it’s not protected more siding becomes exposed and causes a chain reaction. More paint begins to peel and the more areas are exposed to the elements.
